Pediatric/School Psychologist

Collaborating with schools, primary care/medical home and Early Intervention providers, you will be helping and influencing a new program position as an important community resource for children with developmental and behavioral challenges throughout our region. You will have a key role not only in clinical assessment, but also serving as a liaison between Baystate Children’s Hospital and the community, providing individual and group educational programs to schools, community primary care pediatrics practices, and local agencies involved in child developmental and behavioral health, education, and advocacy.

Assessment Position Open

Minuteman Vocational High School in Lexington has made a decision to hire a full-time psychologist solely for testing, report writing in response, and to discuss the testing results at IEP meetings to help advocate for students. It is a fulltime salaried, benefited position with a school schedule. School Psychologist/Team Chair-Hudson, MA

There is an opening in Hudson, MA due to a maternity leave in April through December 31, 2013. The School Psychologist/Team Chairperson at the elementary school level provides a full range of psychological services for students. Responsibilities would include serving as the Team Chairperson for the building, conducting psychological examinations and evaluations to determine the learning needs of students, providing leadership in promoting an understanding of positive mental health and the needs of children, consulting with the instructional staff in adjusting programs and experiences to enhance learning of the curriculum standards, counseling individuals and groups, and working with all whose responsibilities focus on the educational, social, and emotional wellbeing of children. This position may also be asked to be a member of the Instructional Support Team.
