Students

Students are strongly encouraged to join MSPA!
MSPA is your professional organization. It is the only statewide organization representing the interests of school psychologists in Massachusetts. Joining MSPA will allow you to connect with school psychologists around the state and to remain aware of what might affect your future in the field. Belonging to associations of school psychologists is one of the marks of becoming a professional.

Student members of MSPA have their own page in the Membership Only section. Student members of MSPA also have opportunities to volunteer in various capacities and to work with seasoned psychologists. Learning early on to become an active part of professional organizations is a valuable lesson in preventing isolation when ‘on the job’ as it expands your personal professional development and encourages networking.

It’s easy to join MSPA. Full membership requires a supervisor signature on an official document with letterhead. The cost for student membership has been reduced to $15.00. Students who join will receive a personalized certificate of MSPA membership for their portfolios. Become part of something important. Join your professional association!
